Renames a file or moves it within the resource folder.

Syntax

bool fileRename(string filePath, string newFilePath)

Arguments

filePathstring: Current path.
newFilePathstring: New path.

Returns

true on success.

Example

fileRename("log.txt", "logs/log_" .. os.date("%Y%m%d") .. ".txt")
