Function
engineSetModelLODDistance
Sets from which distance (0-1400 m) objects of this model from createObject stop being drawn, also shorter than the default. It changes the model's draw distance in the game (like the San Andreas IDE distance, 40-300 m by default), so editor maps are visible from far away; a distance above 300 m also makes these objects load further away. It does not change map objects (buildings, plants), because they are part of the Unreal levels.
Syntax
bool engineSetModelLODDistance(int modelID, float distance)Arguments
modelIDint- The model.
distancefloat- Distance in metres.
Differences from MTA:SA
- These MTA:SA arguments are not here:
bool extendedLod = false
In MTA:SA
engineSetModelLODDistance(string/int modelNameOrID, float distance, bool extendedLod = false)Returns
true on success.
Example
engineSetModelLODDistance(1271, 300)
